Are you passionate about community, sustainable living, and ethical retail? We are looking for
an energetic, values-driven Assistant Shop & Café Manager to join our team in the heart of
Prestwich!

In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our Manager to keep our organic supermarket and
café running beautifully, while also helping us coordinate our community rental space and
manage our social media channels.

What we are looking for:

• Social Media & Community Savvy: Experience keeping a community updated digitally and managing room bookings

• Co-op Values: A genuine passion for community-led, ethical, and sustainable business

operations

• HR & People Administration: Practical experience handling day-to-day team

administration (such as rota management and hours tracking) and the confidence to handle
immediate staff queries or absences when the Manager is not present

• Team Skills: Experience supervising teams and supporting day-to-day operational

workflows

• Retail or Hospitality Experience: Confidence running shift floors, cash handling, and

managing stock profiles.
